Pete Liegl built his life with the same grit and vision he used to build Forest River, Inc. From humble beginnings, he grew a company that helped families explore the outdoors, driven by a belief that nature brings people together. But his connection to the wild went deeper than industry.

When Pete faced his battle with cancer, he found his greatest strength not in boardrooms, but in the quiet of the woods and the calm of the water. He understood that true healing happens in open spaces. Y Recreation is the realization of that conviction—a family-led chapter dedicated to preserving the environments that gave Pete peace.

Today, his spirit is reflected in every sunrise over the valley. This is more than a retreat; it is a promise kept, reminding us that even in our hardest battles, nature can carry us home.
